Augusta Richmond County (ARC), maintained by the GIS Division. - Data originates from the City of Augusta's Planning Commission. - The Planning Commission is responsible for the content. - Updates are received from the City of Augusta's Planning Commission. - Update Procedure: Spreadsheet is received from the City of Augusta's Planning Commission via e-mail to the GIS Specialist with the month's zoning cases. It includes the Zoning Case #, the request (rezone, private parking, Personal Care Home, etc), Classification (Spex, A to B-2, etc), Status (Approved, Denied or No Action), if there are Conditions or not, PIN #'s affected, and total acreage of area affected. This data is used to update the Zoning Feature Class. If necessary, scanned documents from the Planning Commission might need to be consulted to verify affected area. Zoning Feature Class is edited following procedures in the 'Zoning Editing User's Guide'.Zoning is updated on GIS Mapping Application on the 3rd Saturday of each month. |
